Biography

Maneerat joined MORU (Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit) 4 years ago as a translational partnership manager. Her main role is to set up and manage all aspects of the operation of institutional Translation Partnership Awards: Thailand Major Overseas Programme (Thailand iTPA: MOP).

Her experiences involved various roles including top management, researcher, and operational and Intellectual Property consultants in local and international organizations in both the academic and private sector. Maneerat was a Laboratory director for STEMLIFE Berhad, Malaysia, whom lead the preparation of the AABB accreditation before joined MORU. Before that, she worked at Mahidol Institute of Technology Transfer and Innovation (MITI; Currently is Institute for Technology and Innovation Management, Mahidol University) as senior consultant for technology transfer and IP commercialization. Maneerat got her Doctor of Philosophy degree in molecular genetics and genetic engineering from the international programme at Mahidol University, Thailand with the financial support from Royal Golden Jubilee scholarship from Thailand Research Fund. She also got the postdoctoral fellowship from Amedeo Avogadro University of Eastern Piedmont, Italy. She also holding Thai Patent Agent licenses and have a certificated miniMBA from Chulalongkorn, CBS (Chula Business School). Maneerat is highly passionate and motivated in translating the latest science discovery into practice to improve quality of life of the community.
